Busselton Jetty is the longest wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, stretching 2 km into Geographe Bay from the town of Busselton, Western Australia.

Construction of the jetty commenced in 1853 after persistent pressure by settlers. In 1865 the first section, approximately 176 metres became available for ships to moor. The jetty was continually extended until the 1960s when it reached its current length of 1841 metres.

Blue Lawn plywood panels feature images of native birds and plants as well as iconic locations. They make ideal gifts or souvenirs. They are printed by hand using water-based inks on sustainable sourced Australian hoop pine. In the time before plastics, this timber was used extensively for butter boxes. It is still used for making baby cots and wooden toys. It is a very good surface to print on.

I come in regularly after my hair cut. There’s a variety of gifts and something for everyone. I don’t have a girlfriend yet, but I have this shop on my radar for future gifts.

"I think this shop is very pretty"
Jeremy’s mother Christelle brings Jeremy in every week for a wander around the toy room and to buy him a little treat. How lovely is that!
